Generation Healthcare REIT
(ASX:GHC) has entered an unconditional contract to sell its Leading Healthcare building at Mollison Street, Bendigo, for $11.35 million.
The Trust says this represents a 9% premium to the 30 June 2016 independent valuation of $10.45 million.
Generation Healthcare’s CEO, Miles Wentworth, says Leading Healthcare Bendigo, an which is integrated medical centre, was a non-core asset, and sold off because it was an “appropriate time” due to “market conditions”.
Meanwhile, the Trust also says the value of its investment properties increased by
5.85% to $26 million as at 31 December 2016. However that is a preliminary, unaudited figure.
Generation Healthcare REIT reported a net profit of $52.5 million at 30 June 2016.
