Duet Group DDG to build WA’s largest gas storage facility

Duet Group (ASX:DUE) has announced 100 percent owned DBP Development Group (DDG) will build the largest gas storage facility in Western Australia.

The facility will be strategically located near to the Chevron-operated Wheatstone gas production facility and the BHP-operated Macedon plant.

CITIC Pacific Mining Management has signed on as a foundation customer, with additional contracts currently in negotiation.

The facility is expected to be operational by Jun 2017 with an estimated construction cost of $69 million.

Duet Group reported a net profit of $217 million at 30 June 2016.
