Aurelia Metals flagship asset is the high-grade Hera gold-lead-zinc-silver mine in central NSW.
In FY2016, the company declared a maiden profit of $10.9 million, sales revenue of $91.9 million and a net increase in cash of $16.7 million.
During that fiscal year, the company's Hera mine produced 46,882 ounces of gold and 25,406 tonnes of lead-zinc concentrates from the processing of 308,118 tonnes of ore.
2016 was a "turnaround year" in which operational improvements led to improved performance at the Hera mine. For example, in the past year, gold recovery increased from 78% to 87%, and gravity recovery increased from 41% to 57%.
