Helloworld sells air businesses

Helloworld Limited (ASX:HLO) has announced it will sell its two airline representation businesses to World Aviation Holdings

The company has indicated the businesses are not core to the broader Helloworld business or material to its results.

CEO Andrew Burnes noted the decision was in line with the company’s decision to focus on the core of the business and acquisitions that enhance the brand, with an ongoing review and sale of non-core businesses.

The transaction is expected to complete on 16 January 2017.

Helloworld Limited reported a net profit of $1.68 million at 30 June 2016.
