Afterpay Holdings Ltd
(ASX:AFY) is an Australian company which offers a ‘buy now, take now, pay later’ service in the retail industry – which doesn’t require end-customers to pay upfront fees or interest.
In the lead-up to the Christmas shopping season, the company has announced a partnership with the Country Road Group – whose fashion brands include Country Road, Trenery, Witchery and Mimco.
Afterpay says the Country Road Group will be using its payment platform by the end of this week.
The company says it has over 1,400 retailers currently live on its platform including MJ Bale, Seafolly, Carla Zampatti.
Afterpay posted a net loss of $3.6 million at 30 June 2016.
