Mining industry contractor, MACA Ltd
(ASX:MLD), has been awarded a road maintenance contract by Main Roads Western Australia.
MACA will provide resources, plant, materials, and traffic management in the Kimberley Region for an initial period of 2 years, plus two additional 1 year options to extend.
The company also says this project will provide baseline revenues of $8.4 million, and a $10 million provisional sum for other packages in the first 2 years.
MACA has also been awarded several civil works contracts in Victoria, including a project for VicRoads, worth $2.8 million, to make safety improvements in the Wellington Shire.
MACA reported a net profit of $24.2 million at 30 June 2016.
