Flight Centre Travel Group
(ASX:FLT) has signed a subscription agreement with an Australian tech company for a new cloud-based platform.
The deal is with, BidEnergy Ltd
(ASX:BID), which is based in Melbourne and its platform is designed to give companies more control over their energy spend.
BidEnergy says its “source to pay” solution will also help with advanced sourcing, billing and accounts payable.
Flight Centre has company-owned operations in 14 countries, and a corporate travel management network spanning over 90 countries. However, this deal with BidEnergy applies just to Flight Centre’s Australian stores.
Flight Centre posted a net profit of $244.6 million at 30 June 2016.
