Fastbrick Robotics starts work on new prototype

Fastbrick Robotics Limited (ASX:FBR) has announced it has started construction on its Hadrian X commercial prototype, the follow up to its Hadrian 105 technology demonstrator.

Fastbrick Robotics builds robotic bricklayers for use in the construction industry.

The company has filed patent applications covering several new technologies that will be incorporated into the Hadrian X.

In addition to this, Fastbrick has announced it has been selected as a finalist in the 2016 WA Innovator of the Year program run by the office of the Government Chief Information Officer, with winners announced on 2 November.

Fastbrick Robotics Limited reported a net loss of $5.8 million at 30 June 2016.
