Brambles Limited
(ASX:BXB) has announced it has completed the merger of its Oil & Gas containers solutions businesses with Hoover Container Solutions.
In early August of this year the company announced the proposed merger, entering into an agreement to create an independent joint venture called Hoover-Ferguson Group.
The joint venture is 50% owned by Brambles and 50% owned by Hoover shareholders.
Regulatory approvals have now been obtained for the deal, which was finalised on Friday in New York.
Brambles Limited posted a net profit of $791.4 million at 30 June 2016.
