Agrimin Limited (ASX:AMN) has announced it has signed a Negotiation Protocol with the Kiwirrkurra people for its 100 percent owned Sulphate of Potash project in WA.

Then protocol establishes a commitment from Agrimin to help preserve the traditional way of life of the Kiwikurra people, and is an important milestone in its efforts to form a Mining Agreement in the region.

In August Agrimin announced its scoping study of the site supported a Sulphate of Potash production rate of 370,000 tonnes per year, with a 20 year expected life.

Since then the company has commenced infill drilling at the site to further confirm the results from the scoping study.

Agrimin Limited reported a net loss of $349 thousand at 31 December 2015.
