Emefcy Group Limited (ASX:EMC) has announced it has signed a distribution and deployment partnership for its wastewater treatment solutions with Sinorichen, a consulting firm operating in Beijing Province and Northern China.

The deal is the second the company has entered into in recent months for its membrane aerated biofilm reactor, and highlights the demand for cost effective wastewater treatment solutions in remote village areas in China.

Over the course of 5 years, Emefcy projects revenues of over $75 million for the Beijing Province, and up to $1.3 billion in adjacent regions.

The first Sinorichen installation is scheduled to be commissioned during Q4 of 2016.

Emefcy Group Limited reported a net loss of $3.6 million at 30 June 2016.
