OZ Minerals Limited
(ASX:OZL) has advised the market that electricity will be progressively restored in the next 7 – 10 days at its Prominent Hill operations in South Australia.
While open pit works have been unaffected, the underground mine has only managed to resume limited operations.
Based on indicative timeframes of full power restoration from network provider ElectraNet, OZ Minerals has provided the market with an update on production guidance.
The company has indicated it continues to expect copper production to remain on track, however there is a possibility gold production may now fall at the lower end of guidance.
OZ Minerals Limited reported a net profit of $29.5 million at 30 June 2016.
