Confectionary maker, Yowie Group Ltd
(ASX:YOW), is increasing its advertising investment by US$1 million to build brand awareness in the US market – particularly Texas and Illinois.
This campaign is in addition to a $500,000 investment that Yowie made earlier this year for its pre-Easter social media campaign.
The company will launch its Stage 2 advertising campaign in the US ahead of the Halloween and Christmas peak selling periods.
Yowie says this is its biggest single marketing investment – across cable TV, bus advertising, viral videos and social media websites.
Yowie reported a net loss of $9.96 million at 30 June 2016.
