Air New Zealand
(ASX:AIZ) has released its investor update for last month. The airline said that it carried 4.4% more passengers in August 2016, compared to August 2015. It also said that revenue passenger kilometres were 6.9% higher compared to the same period last year.
Also, three more businesses have joined the Air New Zealand Airpoints loyalty points program – Mitre 10, Tower Isnurance and Storage King.
Air New Zealand says its Airpoints members now have a choice of 55 businesses where they can earn points.
Air New Zealand reported a net profit of $441 million at 30 June 2016.
