Magnis Resources Limited
(ASX:MNS) has announced it has entered into an exclusivity agreement with C4V for the development of natural graphite anode material.
The companies will work together to explore and uncover silicon and graphite anode material combinations that can deliver significant step changes in battery mileage.
C4V specialises in developing advanced materials for the lithium ion battery market and is based out of Binghamton University, New York state.
Magnis has also pointed to recent enhancements in its production of spherical graphite as providing it with a significant competitive advantage over existing production and potential new entrants.
Magnis Resources Limited reported a net loss of $7 million at 31 December 2015.
