Digital media entertainment company, the MSM Corporation International Ltd
(ASX:MSM), has announced that its ‘Megastar Millionaire’ competition will begin Closed Beta testing in September.
Megastar Millionaire is designed to be a platform for online talent contests. It will allow users of the site to vote online for singers, performance artists and extreme sports stars – with the winner taking away $US1 million in cash.
The company is also looking for celebrities to act as judges for this competition.
But until then, the company will be testing the concept in a Closed Beta test – which is open to a smaller pool of performers. The company says the performer who wins the Beta stage will be awarded US$10,000.
MSM says this Beta test will provide insights on how the platform can be further refined ahead of its official launch in early 2017.
MSM reported a net loss of $4.8 million at 31 December 2015.
