Chorus profit: CEO to step down

New Zealand telco Chorus Limited (ASX:CNU) has reported a net profit of $91 million in line with last year.

The company says that regulated pricing on its key copper services impacted the full year result however it was an improvement on the initial benchmarked pricing.

The telco has almost doubled its field crews to meet growing demand for fibre connections.

The company resumed dividends back in February and announced a final dividend of 12 cents per share.

Chorus CEO Mark Ratcliffe also signalled his intention to step down around the middle of next year.
