Air New Zealand Limited
(ASX:AIZ) has posted a record profit nearly doubling its result from last year.
Earnings before significant items and tax were up 70 per cent at $806 million with a record net profit after tax jumping 42 per cent to $463 million.
The company says it will pay a company performance bonus of $2,500 to the 8,200 employees not already on other incentive programs.
A final dividend of 10 cents per share has been declared bringing the full year payout to 20 cents per share not including a special dividend of 25 cents per share.
