Centuria Capital Limited (ASX:CNI): FY16 Results Presentation Hello. I am John McBain, Group CEO of Centuria Capital Limited. It is a great pleasure to be presenting Centuria’s financial results for the 2016 financial year.
Our agenda for today will cover group overview & strategy and FY16 operating highlights. Simon Holt, Group CFO will then cover the groups FY16 financial highlights.
Following the financial highlights I will then detail the performance and outlook of the group’s business divisions, property funds management division and investment bonds division before providing you with an outlook for the group.
In a financial services business, growth in FUM is important and we want to discuss this at the start of our presentation.
Centuria is a business transitioning for its next stage of growth and the funds under management graph demonstrates clearly the compounding nature of FUM growth particularly over FY15 and FY16.
A lot of the “heavy lifting” has already been done towards FY17 FUM and we have provided a snapshot of how FY17 should look based on the FUM carried over from FY16, adding in the recently settled Zenith Property fund and estimating net new FUM on a relatively conservative basis.
