Brambles’ profit rises 8% to US$623M

Brambles Ltd (ASX:BXB) has announced its underlying profit after tax grew by 8% to $US623 million.

Also, in the FY16, Brambles’ sales revenue was up 8% to US$5.5 billion on a constant currency basis.

The company declared a final dividend of AU$0.145 cents per share (25% franked) – which is up 0.5 cents compared to the previous final dividend.

As for its FY17 outlook, Brambles is expecting further growth, and to realise benefits of investments that has made in “operational efficiencies”.
