Emefcy signs on advisors to boost China strategy

Wastewater treatment company, Emefcy Group Ltd (ASX:EMC) has signed deals with a number of China-based advisors to advance its ‘China strategy’.

The company says it has signed on specialty materials supplier Shanghai Brightfield Chemical Co, to be its leading supply chain advisor.

The company says it is also planning to establish its own manufacturing facility in China, with the help of its advisors.

Emefcy also says China’s new Five Year Plan mandates the provision of wastewater treatment for 440 million citizens in rural locations, which is an opportunity worth $20 billion.

Emefcy reported a net loss of $12.4 million at 31 December 2015.
