Vocus completes retail shortfall bookbuild

Vocus Communications Limited (ASX:VOC) has announced it is has successfully completed the retail shortfall bookbuild as part of its $652 million equity raising. 
 
The raising will support the acquisition of Nextgen Networks and two cable development projects.
 
Approximately 9 million retail entitlements were sold in the bookbuild, at a clearing price of $8.50 per new share.
 
Shares in the bookbuild represented a $0.95 premium to the offer price. 
 
Vocus Communications Limited reported a net profit of $24.21 million at 31 December 2015.
