ImpediMed enters med-tech partnership with Redox

Medical device company, ImpediMed Limited (ASX:IPD), has entered a strategic partnership with med-tech company, Redox.

ImpediMed says this partnership will expand the capabilities of its Electronic Health Record (EHR) integration in regards to its next generation medical devices.

The company says the new device will use ImpediMed’s BIS technology to measure, monitor and manage fluid status and body composition.

Combined with Redox’s programming interface for EHR integration, ImpediMed says it can streamline the inter-operability of its device with multiple EHR vendors to create a user-friendly and data rich tech solution.

ImpediMed reported a net loss of $11.2 million at 31 December 2015.
