NetComm signs supply deal with Nokia

NetComm Wireless Ltd (ASX:NTC) has signed a deal to supply Nokia with 'Wireless Network Terminating Devices'.

NetComm says this deal will help Nokia advance the roll-out of its FastMile initiative, which aims to deliver fast LTE broadband in rural and regional areas worldwide.

The company says this deal will increase global market access to the fixed wireless broadband devices which it develops.

In addition, the company says the addressable market is US$80 billion.

NetComm reported a net profit of $2.3 million at 31 December 2015.
