Alliance Aviation Services Ltd
(ASX:AQZ) has announced that five Fokker aircraft have been delivered to it by Austrian Airlines AG.
Previously, in November 2015, Alliance entered a deal to buy 21 of these aircraft from Austrian Airlines.
Alliance says it also completed its first sale of a fully Australian certified Fokker 100 aircraft, which was delivered in Perth yesterday.
This is the first of three aircraft that Alliance is contracted to provide to QantasLink, a subsidiary of Qantas Airways Ltd
(ASX:QAN).
Alliance reported a net profit of $4.9 million at 31 December 2015.
