American data aggregation company, the Buddy Platform Ltd
(ASX:BUD), says it has reached an online traffic milestone.
The company says the flow of data that it processes is now over 1 billion transactions per month.
Buddy Platform is used by businesses to obtain real-time access to data generated by “connected devices”, which it can then analyse.
Buddy says the main sources of this rapid growth are new customers and existing customers who have increased their traffic flow through the platform. This includes data from US and European retailers, smart electricity, water and gas meters and gaming platforms in Asia.
Buddy reported a net loss of $13 million at 31 December 2015.
