SpeedCast International Ltd
(ASX:SDA), says it has been awarded a deal to provide satellite communications services in China over several years.
The satellite company says its client is a “leading global energy service company” but hasn’t disclosed who that is.
Speedcast will provide a fully-managed VSAT network to 18 wellsite locations in China.
The company says this is the third major services agreement it won in the past year, and expects this to open more doors to future China developments.
SpeedCast reported a net profit of $5.9 million at 31 December 2015.
