AMP Limited
(ASX:AMP) has announced the election of Catherine Brenner as Chairman of the AMP Board, effective immediately.
Ms Brenner is an existing board member and until recently was Chairman of AMP Life and NLMA.
She will replace outgoing Chairman John Palmer, who indicated the board was unanimous in its support for the new appointment.
Ms Brenner currently holds current directorships with Boral and Coca-Cola Amatil and is a former investment banker and corporate lawyer.
AMP Limited reported a net profit of $1.71 billion at 31 December 2015.
