Anatara Lifesciences Ltd
(ASX:ANR) says that it is making significant process towards registering its lead product, Detach, in Australia.
Detach is a natural, non-antibiotic medication used to prevent and treat diarrhoea in animals and humans.
Anatara has also commenced two new trials – an efficacy study on a commercial pig farm, and a target animal safety study (also on pigs).
The company’s chairman, Dr Mel Bridges, says that he expects Detach to be sold in Australia next year, followed by a launch in Asian markets afterwards.
Anatara reported a net loss of $1.18 million at 31 December 2015.
