IMF Bentham funds $25M US False Claims case

IMF Bentham Limited (ASX:IMF) has announced it will fund a further litigation matter in the United States.

The company says this new matter is a case in the US District Court regarding breaches of the Federal False Claims Act.

IMF says that the initial estimate of the value for this matter is $25 million.

The litigation funder says, in accordance with its policy, that it won’t reveal further details about this case until it has resolved.

IMF reported a net loss of $944,000 at 31 December 2015.
