Fairfax Media Limited
(ASX:FXJ) today announced that Domain Group has bought a 35 per cent interest in local trade website OneFlare.
Domain will pay $15 million for the share in the online digital marketplace that connects consumers with local trade service providers.
The deal allows Domain and Fairfax to expand beyond property advertising into home improvement and trade services.
The OneFlare site has more than 80,000 registered businesses across 150 service categories.
Fairfax Media reported a net profit of $32.96 million for the six months to the end of December 2015.
