Macquarie Group Limited
(ASX:MQG) has posted a 29 per cent rise in annual profit, to $2.06 billion for the 12 months ending March 31st.
Profit for the second half of the year was up 7 per cent on the corresponding period in 2015, to $A993 million, however it was down 7 percent on the 1H16.
International income of $6.7 billion accounted for 68 per cent of the group’s total income for FY16, an increase of 4 percent on the previous year.
The full year ordinary dividend is $A4.00 per share, up from $A3.30 in FY15.
