Watpac Limited
(ASX:WTP) has finalised a $264m contract with Chinese developer, Country Garden Australia, to deliver the Ryde Garden residential development in the north-west of Sydney.
The Company has been working with Country Garden to formalise the contract following its appointment as Preferred Contractor in October last year.
The development will feature 830 residential apartments, and 1,100 metre-squared non-residential floor space, including retail space.
The Company says that Works will commence in the coming weeks.
Watpac made a net loss of $25.27 million for the six months to the end of December 2015.
