Downer EDI Limited
(ASX:DOW) has announced the sudden passing of Chief Financial Officer Kevin Fletcher.
Mr Fletcher was 54 when he passed away on Sunday morning. The cause of death was not disclosed.
Mr Fletcher spent 6 years in the position and helped a company turnaround following huge write downs on the Waratah train project in 2010.
Deputy CFO Michael Ferguson has been appointed acting head of finance.
Downer EDI reported a net profit of $72.1 million for the half year to the end of December 2015.
