SKYCITY announces resignation of CEO

SKYCITY Entertainment Group Limited (ASX:SKC) has announced that Nigel Morrison has resigned as Chief Executive and Managing Director of the company, effective at the end of the month.
 
The company says the board and Mr Morrison have been formally discussing succession planning since September last year.
 
Both parties have agreed that now is the right time to transition to a new Chief Executive.
 
Chief Operating Officer of SKYCITY NZ John Mortensen has been appointed as interim CEO. 
 
SKYCITY reported a net profit of $66.58 million at 31 December 2015.
