Yowie Group Limited
(ASX:YOW) says the company has significantly expanded its manufacturing capacity in the US, by entering into a long-term manufacturing agreement with Madeleine Chocolate Company.
The company says the new Yowie manufacturing arrangements and Company-owned capsule design have been developed as part of a long-term strategic plan to optimise Yowie performance.
Yowie says manufacturing equipment has been successfully installed at the Madelaine Chocolate Company facility and is now in the process of being fully commissioned.
The Angry Birds product has already started to be produced at the facility.
Yowie reported a net loss of $3.55 million at 31 December 2015.
