(ASX:ENN) Managing Director & CEO, Glenn Willis told the conference 'Elanor Investors Group is a listed funds management business. We listed in July 2014, on the back of the firm belief that the listed platform would enable the company to grow our funds under management and achieve our ambition to build a very strong funds management business.
The business and the listed platform is such that we are able to co-invest with our investment partners and our funds, and it is also one where we can hold assets on balance sheet to, in turn, externalize and seed funds in due course.
The key ambition of Elanor Investors Group is to grow our funds under management. In terms of how does Elanor derive its earnings, it derives its earnings in two broad ways. Firstly we get earnings from managing external funds. That’s arrangement fees, management fees and performance fees where we outperform for our investors. We also derive earnings from the assets that we hold on balance sheet. Those assets are assets that we believe in due course will be externalized, the plan is to externalize those assets and seed new funds.
