Orinoco Gold reports fatality

Orinoco Gold Limited (ASX:OGX) has advised of a fatal incident regarding a member of its regional exploration team.
 
The incident took place at the company’s Faina Goldfields project in Brazil.
 
The man, who was employed by Orinoco as a field assistant, was struck by lightning while carrying out routine exploration activities on the Company’s southern tenements.
 
The board, management and staff of Orinoco have extended their deepest sympathy and condolences to the man’s family and colleagues.
 
Orinoco Gold recorded a net loss of $2.89 million at 31 December 2015.
