Shares in Galaxy Resources Limited
(ASX:GXY) have been placed into a trading halt at the request of the company.
The lithium company requested an immediate halt of its securities pending an update on Offtake Agreements for its Mt Cattlin mine in Ravensthorpe, Western Australia.
Galaxy Resources partnered with General Mining Corporation in September 2015 to bring the Mt Cattlin project back into operation after over two years on care and maintenance.
The trading halt will remain in place until the commencement of trade on Wednesday 9 March, or when the announcement is released to market.
Galaxy Resources recorded a net profit of $55.01 million at 30 June 2015.
