Yowie Group Limited
(ASX:YOW) has announced the Yowie owned high speed wrapper located at the Whetstone manufacturing facility has been cleared for relocation into the Madeleine Chocolate Company in New York.
The announcement follows a legal dispute by the previous Yowie manufacturer Hank Whetstone to retain the equipment.
The court found in favour of Yowie Group Limited. In a separate notice, Mr Whetstone has been instructed by lawyers representing Yowie to cease using the Yowie brand, product or Yowie related materials in advertising for his manufacturing facility and services.
The company said installation and commissioning of the Yowie previously unused spare wrapper at MCC is expected to commence on March 10, subject to timing of customs clearance, while preparations for the relocation of the wrapper currently located at the Whetstone facility are finalised.
