Jumbo reports jump in net profit

Jumbo Interactive Limited (ASX:JIN) has reported a 654 per cent jump in net profit to $2 million for the half year to 31 December 2015.
 
CEO and Executive Director Mike Veverka says this was as a result of a 22 per cent rise in ticket sales to $81 million, stemming from successful online marketing campaigns.
 
Revenue increased 21 per cent to $17.8 million resulting in a 145 per cent increase in EBITDA to $5.1 million.
 
Jumbo’s balance sheet also strengthened with net assets of $22.9 million and the company’s cash position at $26.4 million.
 
The company will pay a 2 cent dividend fully franked.
