Crown Resorts Limited
(ASX:CWN) has announced it will pursue all available avenues of objection amid an income tax dispute with the Australian Taxation Office.
The ATO has made a total claim of approximately $362 million. This figure comprises of $250 million relating to primary tax and interest in respect of income tax paid for the 2009 to 2014 financial years.
Crown also received an additional notice of penalties, totalling $112 million.
Crown Resorts reiterated that it considers it has paid the correct amount of tax and will enter court proceedings if necessary.
Crown Resorts recorded a net profit of $378.3 million at 30 June 2015.
