Syrah Resources
(ASX:SYR) says it has signed a sales intent agreement with Hillier Carbon for 5 years.
Hillier Carbon is one of the leading suppliers of raw materials to the North Amercian steel producers and as part of the agreement will be granted exclusive rights to sell Balama recarburiser in the US, Canada and Mexico.
Hillier will purchase between 25,000 and 35,000 tonnes of the natural graphite recarburiser for use in steelmaking.
Balama recarburiser has recently been qualified for commercial scale work by a global steel producer.
Syrah Resources made a net loss of $11.63 million in the 2015 financial year.
