Norwood Systems Limited
(ASX:NOR) says it has experienced a 31 per cent uptick in downloads of its World Phone app over the Christmas holiday period.
Downloads of 2.7 million have added US$265,000 or an extra 31 per cent to revenue.
The World Phone app allows users to make international voice calls with their contacts while travelling using low cost local networks rather than expensive roaming fees.
The company says it will now move to fortnightly updates for the coming months.
Norwood Systems reported a net loss of $5.88 million for the 2015 financial year.
