CIMIC’s Asia arm wins $205M contract

CIMIC Group (ASX:CIM) says Asian subsidiary Leighton Contractors, in conjunction with Chun Wo Building Construction, has won a $205 million contract for the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge project. 
 
The new contract is for the construction of ancillary boundary crossing facilities and complements the current $1.48 billion construction of the passenger clearance building for the project. 
 
CIMIC should earn around $123 million in revenue from the 60:40 Leighton led project with work already underway and completion scheduled for November 2017. 
 
CIMIC reported a net profit of $229.9 million for the 2015 financial year.
