Amcor buys US packaging company

Amcor Limited (ASX:AMC) has announced the acquisition of a US packaging business for $62 million dollars.
 
Deluxe generates around US$42 million a year and comes with a highly modern manufacturing plant and skilled workers in Northern California. It is focussed on packaging products in the fresh food and snack market. 
 
Amcor will add the privately owned Deluxe Packages to its newly formed Flexibles America business and the purchase will give Amcor a combined presence on both the east and west coasts Stateside. 
 
Amcor reported a net profit of $921.74 million in the 2015 financial year.
