Gas2Grid Limited (ASX:GGX) says its pleased to announce that a judge in France has ruled to suspend a decision made by the French government not to renew the St Griede permit in France.

The judge concluded that the permit in itself couldn’t cause risks to public order and there was an error of law in the decision of the Ministers.

However, the Ministers are allowed two weeks to appeal the judge’s ruling.

The St Griede permit is located in the Aquitaine Basin and was due for its first five-year renewal in 2013.

Gas2Grid reported a net loss of $5.27 million at 30 June 2015.
