Auckland Airport reports passenger number increase

Auckland Airport (ASX:AIA) has released its traffic statistics for the month of November and has reported an increase in both international and domestic passengers.
 
International passenger numbers in November grew by 6.3 per cent, compared to the previous year, with the bulk of passengers coming from Tasman and Asian routes.
 
The Airport says that Tasman growth was driven by additional Melbourne and Sydney capacity from Air New Zealand and Qantas.
 
Queenstown Airport’s domestic numbers were up by 15.4 per cent on the previous corresponding period.
 
Auckland Airport reported a net profit of $197.89 million at 30 June 2015.
