Saracen Mineral Holdings
(ASX:SAR) says its $65 million Thunderbox gold project in WA is moving along ahead of schedule.
Development of the $65 million project is running under budget and plant commissioning and first production look set to be one month ahead of schedule.
Once the operation begins, Saracen will double annual production to over 300,000 ounces a year.
In light of the progress on the new project, Saracen will reassess its group production outlook for the 2016 financial year.
Saracen reported a net profit of $11.15 million in the 2015 financial year.
