A2 Milk Company upgrades forecasts again

Company News

The A2 Milk Company Limited (ASX:A2M) has again revised its 2016 full year forecast higher.

Following strong sales of its a2 Platinum infant formula products in the first four months of the 2016 financial year A2 Milk Company had revised its group revenue to $285 million at its AGM in November.

However that proved to be somewhat premature, another significant uplift in sales during November now has the company forecasting revenue of $300 - $315 million with profit of up to $37 million.

The demand for the infant formula in China is seeing stock sell out and the changing and dynamic nature of the market both in China and here at home is making forecasting challenging. The company says it will update the outlook again in February.

A2 Milk Company reported a net loss of $1.85 million in the 2015 financial year.
